Inauguration of the Andrássy Salon

September 22, 2022

An Evening Discussion with CSS Trustee Lady Scruton

On Friday, September 16, the new home of Common Sense Society–Hungary, the beautiful Andrássy Salon, was inaugurated in Budapest. The inauguration was accompanied by some cheering from passers-by on the street and followed by an evening discussion with CSS trustee Lady Scruton. Lady Scruton talked about farming and creating a “place of somewhere” at Sundey Hill Farm, which she established with her late husband, Sir Roger Scruton. Participants of the evening had the pleasure of listening to J.S. Bach Suites’ Preludes, performed by cellist Dénes Molnár. The evening concluded with informal conversation accompanied by some of the best wines of northern Hungary.
